About
Princeton Japanese story telling
We are a Japanese story reading group based in Princeton, New Jersey, USA.
Once a month at the Princeton Public Library in New Jersey, USA, we hold a picture book reading session in Japanese. In addition to storytelling, we provide opportunities for children living abroad and local people who are interested in the Japanese language to experience the Japanese language and culture through hand games, seasonal songs, origami, etc.
For a long time, due to the effects of COVID-19, we had to suspend our storytelling sessions at the library. However, face-to-face storytelling sessions have resumed since last September.
We are now holding storytelling
on the third Saturday of every month at 1:00 p.m.
at the Princeton Public Library, 3rd floor,
in the back story room.
Thank you to everyone who has supported our storytelling sessions remotely and to PJA for their support.
We look forward to continuing to serve you at the Princeton Japanese Storytelling.
